Claire Van Vliet Exhibition & Talk at Grolier Club

The current exhibition at the Grolier Club is Claire Van Vliet & the Janus Press: Celebrating Fifty Years (February 21- April 29, 2006). Accompanying the exhibition is a catalog and a talk that is open to the public:

As part of its mission to promote the art and history of the book, this season the Grolier Club is opening some of its lectures to the book-loving public.

The latest lecture in this program takes place on Thursday March 23, at 6 pm, when artist and book maker Claire Van Vliet will speak about handmade papers and the Janus Press, in connection with the Grolier Club exhibition Claire Van Vliet & The Janus Press: Celebrating Fifty Years.

Public visitors are encouraged to RSVP the Grolier Club so they have an idea of how many will attend. Business attire is suggested.
